LetterShop is a woman-run creative agency based in New York. We craft 360-degree solutions that include strategy and planning, branding and design, marketing, content and social media. Our clients include a variety of businesses in the fintech and technology sphere as well as a select number of small businesses.

About the role
This role will begin in early January 2025. As an Intern at LetterShop, you will gain practical knowledge of working in a creative agency. You will work in a supportive environment with fellow creatives who are passionate about their work. You must be able to come into our Dobbs Ferry office to be considered. The hourly rate is $15/hour.

Core responsibilities:

• Create and edit graphics for multiple channels; sample deliverables could include projects like social media graphics, presentations, white papers, event graphics, videos, etc.
• Complete work promptly and stay on top of tasks briefed by colleagues and assigned through the project management software, Asana
• Prepare files for production, including resizing, retouching and reformatting
• Attend team meetings as requested

What we are seeking:

• A student currently enrolled in their final year of an accredited graphic design program
• A person who is passionate about typography and wants to grow and expand their visual sensibility
• A person who is tech-savvy (and a quick learner) and is willing to learn and use any necessary technologies to support their work; our team generally uses Adobe programs, so a strong knowledge of those programs required
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Extraordinarily organized and detail-oriented
• An independent person who enjoys solving problems
• Strong multi-tasker, self-motivated, and an independent thinker

We have a beautiful office in Dobbs Ferry, NY. It is a quick walk from the train station. Dobbs Ferry is on the Hudson line, about 40 minutes from Grand Central. Our industrial space has high ceilings and a view of the Hudson River.
